Short Bio
Stacey Harper currently leads the Nanotoxicology Division of the Tanguay laboratory at Oregon State University, (OSU) and is an active member of the Oregon Nanoscience and Microtechnologies Institute (ONAMI). Dr. Harper works closely with industry, academic and government partners to ensure that environmental and human health considerations are addressed concurrently with the invention of novel nanomaterials by providing evaluations and feedback on the potential bioactivity and toxicological action of nanomaterials they produce. She has spearheaded an OSU/ONAMI effort to develop a knowledgebase of Nanomaterial-Biological Interactions (NBI) (www.oregonstate.edu/nbi).
