The Micro Nano Fabrication Center

The Micro Nano Fabrication Center

Our mission is to be the premier Educational, Research, & Industrial Resource for Micro/Nano Fabrication in Southern Arizona.

We provide our clients with an extensive processing background to help them with their research and developement activity and we train them to safely operate our equipment. Focused training courses are offered as requested. We also support and assist faculty with lab courses requiring the use of Center's facility and equipment.

Several advanced research projects are currently underway at the Center. These include projects under the sponsorship of the National Science Foundation, Sematech, SRC, and industrial sponsors such as Intel Corp. The Center is closesly associated with the research activities under the SRC Center for Environmentally Benign Semiconductor Manufacturing.

Companies in Southern Arizona and elsewhere have successfully utilized the Center's space, instruments, & staff expertise to obtain cost effective solutions to key technical problems. Local technology companies such as Araca Inc., Intex Inc., Nmode Solutions Inc., SiO2 Medical Inc., Tempronics Inc., and Triton Micro Technologies, are prime examples of how we can help companies achieve their manufacturing goals.
