<p>Oct 2nd, 2011 will mark the start of a three day gathering of global stakeholders focused on marketing products that incorporate micro and nano technology (MNT). Companies and individuals who define the leading edge of MNT will converge on Lake Louise in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. The WAVE Conference and Exhibition will feature presentations by 125 exhibitors who will demonstrate their technology to an international audience of MNT product stakeholders. For example, in the health and medical market, many products from point of care devices to targeted therapies are using micro and nano technology for the products today and in the future, in conventional energy and clean technology, sensors are used in a wide variety of applications, in many new consumer and commercial applications gyros and accelerometers enable the devices to be smarter and more interactive.
