Indri Search Tips

The Indri search engine currently supports the following query syntax:

• x y: looks for both x and y anywhere in the text
• "x y": looks for x y as a string
• x + y: looks for x and requires y

Indri also groups documents into the following categories, each of which can be searched individually or in combination:

• InterNan
• Government sites
• University sites
• News
• Journals
