Carter Group Overview National Nanomanufacturing Network: The Carter Research Group of the Department of Polymer Science and Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Amherst is seeking two postdoctoral fellows to join their research efforts. The group works to gain a detailed understanding of how to control functionality and performance of materials over multiple length scales.

1. Manager Nanoimprint Lithography Laboratory

As a postdoctoral researcher, the candidate will study and develop new approaches for the nanoscale patterning of polymeric materials for novel device fabrication. The person will also serve as the manager of the UMass Nanoimprint  Lithography (NIL) laboratory – a lab supported by the Center for Hierarchical Manufacturing, an NSF NSEC. More ....

2. Advanced Photovoltaic Materials and Devices

As a postdoctoral researcher, the candidate will study and develop new materials and devices for solar energy conversion. The research will involve the exploration of new materials for the development of advanced, high efficiency photovoltaic devices. More ....
