The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) and California Nano-Industry Network are hosting their fifth Nanotechnology Symposium on Environmental Health and Safety. The morning session will focus on the collaborative efforts emerging in the United States and internationally regarding health, safety, and environmental impacts of nanomaterials. The afternoon session will look at examples of companies applying the evolving knowledge on nanomaterials safety to systematically address various areas of concern.

The event is free and open to the public, and it will be available via webcast.
