RNA Nanotechnology Seminar

Conference
Saturday, January 21, 2017 to Sunday, January 22, 2017
Ventura, CA

The Gordon Research Seminar on RNA Nanotechnology is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.

The 2017 RNA Nanotechnology Gordon Research Seminar will focus on RNA nanotechnology and extracellular RNA with separate sessions specifically devoted to Nanoparticle Folding and Structure, RNA nanotechnology, RNA synthetic biology, and the biological roles of extracellular RNA. The first three sessions will emphasize on the current advances in nanoparticle formation and organization that includes both self organizing RNA nanostructure and small, biological RNA elements. These sessions aim to bridge the RNA information boom to applications within therapeutics and industry. The final session will be on the biological roles of extracellular RNA wherein discussion will be focused on the recent developments in our understanding of the multiple roles of extracellular RNA in various physiological and pathological conditions.
