National Nanomanufacturing Network: The Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Center for Nanophase Materials Science (CNMS) is seeking proposals for user-initiated nanoscience research. Deadline for submission is May 1, 2009.
The CNMS offers users an array of nanoscience research capabilities; their facilities, equipment and staff expertise are available to users at no cost for research in the public domain.
The CNMS is soliciting scientifically high-impact proposals in areas that complement their core expertise:
- Macromolecular nanomaterials
- Multiscale functionality
- Scanning Probes
- Bio-inspired materials
The CNMS Nanofabrication Research Laboratory offers a 10,000’ cleanroom space for nanopatterning, materials processing, and the development of assembly methods.
User proposals are due May 1, 2009.
