CNMS Call for Proposals

National Nanomanufacturing Network: The Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Center for Nanophase Materials Science (CNMS) is seeking proposals for user-initiated nanoscience research. Deadline for submission is May 1, 2009.

The CNMS offers users an array of nanoscience research capabilities; their facilities, equipment and staff expertise are available to users at no cost for research in the public domain.

The CNMS is soliciting scientifically high-impact proposals in areas that complement their core expertise:

  • Macromolecular nanomaterials
  • Multiscale functionality
  • Scanning Probes
  • Bio-inspired materials

The CNMS Nanofabrication Research Laboratory offers a 10,000’ cleanroom space for nanopatterning, materials processing, and the development of assembly methods.
