Call for Papers: Nanotechnologies and the Consumer

National Nanomanufacturing Network: The Journal of Consumer Policy has put out a call for papers for a special issue on "Nanotechnologies and the Consumer." Submissions are due by August 15, 2009.

The special issue will discuss the impact of nanotechnologies on consumer behavior, policy and law in a range of applications -- from food and medicine to consumer products and sustainable technologies. Articles should specifically address areas of consumer policy and law.

Established in 1977 and published by Springer, the Journal of Consumer Policy is a peer-reviewed, quarterly, academic journal which focuses on consumer issues in economics, law and the behavioral sciences. Its scope includes issues such as the impact of new technologies, market regulation and deregulation, and product safety and liability.
