University of Massachusetts Amherst research on nanomanufacturing will be on showcased at the Center for Hierarchical Manufacturing's 2007 Fall Meeting on Thursday, September 20, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the UMass Amherst campus. Hear about current research projects, new facilities, and opportunities for industry involvement. A poster session covering all aspects of nanomanufacturing research at UMass Amherst, as well as special focus presentations on nanoimprint lithography and nanoscale processor design, will be featured. Guest speaker Amy Jones of Lockheed Martin Corporation will talk on 'Environmental, Safety and Health Management of Nanomaterials,' and CHM leaders will announce the establishment of a new NSF-supported National Nanomanufacturing Network.
