Don’s background as an Industrial Hygienist spans 3 decades beginning as Radiation Safety Officer with North Dakota’s largest radioisotope laboratory. Don holds a Chemistry degree along with graduate school credentials from both NDSU and CSU. Over his career, he has held several senior posts including CEO & Lead Hygienist in HTI Laboratories and Industrial Consultants. As a principle of HTI, Don spent years providing forensic toxicology and OEHS services while also leading the firm to creation of the first EPA-NIST Certified Mobile. Don has worked as a Tribal Executive for the Fort Peck Tribes and as Research Scholar in CSU’s Center for Environmental Toxicology and Technology. Don is past chair of AIHA’s Nanotechnology Working Group and previously served as Corporate EH&S Manager for Albuquerque-based OSO BioPharmaceuticals. More recently, Don joined nanoTox of Austin, Texas where he holds the position of Vice President - Field Services.
